Went to the Caleta Hotel in September 2005, had not been to Gibraltar for many years and was very surprised. It was brilliant. The hotel was superb. Our room was downstairs { the only down side to it} but the view was superb. Room 112 is definitely the room to have. The food in the restaurants was slightly pricey, but in the lounge bar the food was excellent and really good value. The staff were so kind , nothing was too much trouble. Everything was spic and span. Could not fault the hotel at all. Could even go on the internet, there was a pc in the reception area for anyone to use. I have tried to send some pictures hopefully they are okay, I have done the views from the room, the front of the hotel looking up to the Rock and the room itself. Nearly forgot to mention the breakfasts - what a selection, all buffet as much as you wanted from cereals, fruit, cheeses, yoghurt, bacon, eggs, sausage etc. etc, it was a struggle some mornings to get up in time but we did not miss one. All in all, highly recommended.
